During the years I lived in North Georgia in the busy Atlanta area, when the weekend came, it was the simple things in life I often sought. This was particularly true after I began my journey as an artist. Although I loved capturing Atlanta’s landmark architecture, there was also a side of me that really wanted to reconnect with nature in a way I never would have expected.

Sometimes that meant a journey into the scenic North Georgia mountains to see the fall colors. Other days that might have meant something as simple as a quick drive to the banks of the Chattahoochee River at sunrise. The resulting North Georgia prints in my portfolio are very much a look at the picturesque in North Georgia.

From rustic old sheds and barns to vibrant rolling landscapes, there really is no end to the beautiful vistas in North Georgia once you begin to look for them. And many of these prints are from places squarely in the Atlanta metro area like historic Roswell. When I look back at my Roswell prints today, I have to remind myself that the bustling streets of Atlanta were basically a few steps away.

For me, these prints are more than beautiful and picturesque North Georgia scenes. They represent the beginning of my realization that the inspiration for beautiful art surrounds us if we just learn how to look for it. My time living in North Georgia was very much the period of my life when I learned to look at the world with the eye of an artist. And these vibrant prints embody that journey.

I know that many of my past North Georgia art patrons have enjoyed these prints because they also called the area home. But the wonderful thing is that I have found there are an equal number who are equally enthusiastic about the vibrant quality and rich Americana in this series of prints. This artwork ultimately appeals to people who, like me for so many years, want to reconnect with the simpler side of life.

For those past and future art patrons who have chosen to decorate with my North Georgia prints, thank you so much! I am so pleased you have chosen to enjoy the quiet charm of North Georgia through my eyes.

Your interest in my artwork is most appreciated!

The art you decorate with is something that you will look at for years to come. This is true whether it is wall art for your home or a public space in your place of business. Paint colors may come and go, but the artwork often outlives the rest of your decor choices.

That is why I am more than happy to answer any of your questions. Whether you want to know more about a specific piece of art or have a more general question, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I love the opportunity to discuss the story behind my art as much as sharing helpful details.

I am also open to discussing any special requests you may have. Perhaps you have a special decorating challenge or need artwork tailored to fit a specific space? Or you have a special design opportunity to discuss?

Well, I have always enjoyed challenging projects, so just ask!
