Description
This piece if digital art was based on a photo from my 2008 visit to London but the textured almost painterly picture you see was created several years after the fact as part of a 365 day art project I worked on. In fact, this was the final entry in that project and it holds a special place for me.
There's something about the colors and the almost fantasy-feel that reminds me of that great city, like the dream it fades into the longer it's been since I last walked along the Thames. I love the throngs of people. It was fall, but the weather was beautiful and the city seemed filled with people enjoying the sights.
