About This Image

There’s something so serene about this print of tropical boats floating on the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. All the colors in this print from the blue and yellow tropical boats to the sea-green water and the blue skies just seems to be in a state of harmony. And the waters were so still that morning that it feels as if the horizon is utterly unbroken. There’s just a boundless sense to the sea isn’t there?

These tropical boats remind me of many I’ve seen since in Mexico and further south in Central America. I think it’s the cheerful colors and the stripped bare no-frills designs. But they’ll get you where you’re going and in these particular boats, pretty quickly! At any rate, when I look at them, I think of fun on the ocean and a mix of happy emotion come flooding back. Maybe you have had the same experience on these little boats or you just love a tropical seascape?

This was the day of my first experience cruising the waters in a tropical boat on the Gulf of Mexico. This little slice of tropical paradise is the playa at the village of CelestĂșn on the Yucatan coast. I spent a day wandering on those picturesque shores and took a tour of the coast. Once a fishing village, it now finds itself in the midst of a nature reserve – the Parque Natural del Flamenco Mexicano. The way of life may be changing there but the surroundings are still an incredibly beautiful landscape!

Have you had the pleasure of riding in one of these cool tropical boats on the Gulf Of Mexico at CelestĂșn? Perhaps this print reminds you of an adventure of your own from Mexico or further south Or maybe you simply love the incredibly natural beauty of this seascape? I hope you’ll take a moment to share your thoughts with me. I’d love to know what appeals to you about this landscape print?

How Can I Help?

At the end of the day, it’s important to me that you can put a face with the art you’re considering purchasing through my site. Aside from the print vendor who ultimately prints and ships your order, this is a one man show. The person who made the art is the same one who is typing this message and the one who will answer your questions if you drop me a note.

You are not a number and I care that you are happy with whatever art you might buy here. I’m here if you’d like to ask questions before or after purchasing. And I’m also happy to work with you where possible to customize the work you’re buying. Maybe you’d like a tweak to the shape of a print to fit in with your existing wall art. Or you’d like to add a little nod to someone special in it? Just ask! I also keep a running list of subjects I don’t currently have but people are seeking. So if you enjoy the style of my work but didn’t find quite what you were looking for, please do let me know.

I’ve been an artist for 15 years now and most of that time it’s been my full-time passion. And it matters to both the endorphins in my brain and the food I put on the table for me (and my cats) that you find the experience of purchasing the products offered here to be a pleasure.
